February 2008: Learn ScreenPrinting!
Peripheral Media Projects + Mesh Count (magazine!) team up to offer Brooklyn the finest of screenprinting experiences. This is a three class program beginning February 5th. The remaining classes will take place the following Tuesdays (the 12th & the 19th). Workshop classes begin at 6:30pm and run through to 9:30pm. Basic Silkscreen covers everything necessary (creation of films / set up of screens / inks used / reclaiming of screens) to make a screen and print on paper and textiles. Students will also receive 1 aluminum frame (156 mesh count screen / 20" x 28" inner dimension) and their very own 18" squeegee (medium durometer). Also included is a copy of issue #3 of Mesh Count (magazine!) --> w/limited edition wrap.
